Join the Race to Raise Awareness to Complete the EVT

Back for its second year – and better than ever – the Race to Raise Virtual Challenge for the Eagle Valley Trail kicks off on July 22 and lasts through Labor Day. This time you won’t be able to compete from the comfort of your own couch; you’ll actually be tracking your mileage as you walk, run, jog, skate, cycle or sprint about your daily life. Whoever goes the farthest during the challenge is the winner.

How the Race to Raise Virtual Challenge Works

For every mile you log, every participant you sign up, every photo you post and, well, you get the point – you’ll earn points that turn into rewards. So while there’s only one winner, there are no losers! Especially because every mile raises awareness to complete the Horn Ranch to Edwards section of the EVT – that final segment of trail needed to connect all of Eagle County. So I guess we’ll all be winners!

How to Join the Race to Raise Virtual Challenge

Our collective goal is 10,000 miles – lofty, we know. And while 10,000 miles is just under half of the circumference of the Earth, we know that Eagle County residents like to move, enjoy friendly competition and always rise to a good challenge.

You can get more information and sign up here. See you on the trail!
